For over 15 years our Natural Beef has been available
to the 20,000+ Olympic hopefuls that train at the
three Olympic Training Centers each year. The exceptional
nutritional values of Maverick Ranch all-natural,
chemical-free products play a significant role in
menu planning for our nation's Olympic athletes.
In 1987, when Maverick Ranch was only in two major
markets, we were approached by the U.S. Olympic Committee
to furnish beef to the U.S. Olympic Training Centers.
Maverick Ranch Natural Beef was the only product
available that was up to the nutritional standards
of the Olympic Athletes, and was also laboratory
tested and guaranteed to be free of any detectable
residue from antibiotics, pesticides, and in particular
steroids. This was an obvious concern of the Olympic
Team, which needed high quality, lowfat beef for
their athletes' training diets but could not risk
them being eliminated from competition due to unexpected
contaminants in their food. So Maverick Ranch became
the first (and only) Official U.S. Olympic Supplier
of beef. The USOTC/Maverick relationship flourished
and grew: In 1998 Maverick Ranch began supplying
Natural Buffalo, and in 2001 the Olympic license
was again modified to include fresh and frozen pork,
including sausage and bacon.
Maverick Ranch is very proud to be part of the U.S.
Olympic movement. We believe that the Olympic Games
have been a great contributor to world peace by providing
nations with nonviolent competition through sports,
regardless of race or religion.
Average attendance at the three Olympic Training Centers
is 1,100 athletes per day. Over 20,000 athletes receive
training, evaluation, medical and dental care at
the training centers each year. America's entire
Olympic program is funded purely by donations from
private individuals, corporate sponsors and suppliers.
The Moore family is proud to provide Natural Beef,
Pork, and Buffalo to all three U.S. Olympic Training
Centers.
