   I created the Maverick Ranch brand in 1986 with my wife, Bobbi, and our four sons; Rex, Lance, Charlie, and Monte. As a ranching family, we remain dedicated to our philosophy of raising healthy animals the old-fashioned way.

   The Maverick Ranch brand's quest to bring you the best tasting and safest natural meats has led to exciting product offerings. The flagship product, NaturaLite 96% Extra Lean Ground Beef, is widely available nationwide. The Maverick Ranch natural line also includes Natural Pork, Natural Buffalo, Natural Free-Range Air-chilled Chicken, and Natural Uncured Processed Meats, such as franks, bacon and ham. Whether you're trying to eat low-fat or just want meats without antibiotics, added growth hormones, or pesticides, these products are naturally grown to meet your needs.

   One of our goals in creating this web site has been to give consumers a single, comprehensive source for information about our health and the ways in which our health is affected by the foods we eat.   In March 2009, we joined up with 52 family farmers from the Midwest. We had worked with these farmers since 2001 when they started supplying Maverick Ranch with some of their high-quality Naturally Raised Pork. We welcome these farmers, known as Heritage Acres Foods LLC, into the Maverick Ranch brand. We are proud to be partnered with these dedicated American farm families.
